I received an ebook of this novel from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Dani René!
Ohh God, that was incredibly sexy and thrilling. As its predecessor, this book was not only a rock star romance, but is a complete package of dark suspense, healing, friendship, family, changing and evolving. This book had my heart racing and aching, and fluttering and melting. (There are way top many "and"s in this paragraph, but my brain is simply rambling thoughts which I need to get down)
My favourite aspect of the book was René's depiction of Liam's struggles to become a better person; to grow as a man. We see how he struggles with himself, and the relationships he's in. These parts of the book not only give it depth and a three dimensionality, but also make us grow fond of Liam f*cking Hayes.
I would have liked a maybe slightly longer novel to see what happens with Emma's career, but maybe we'll see what happens on book three! (Which is super super soon!)
Dani René really built up the premise for book three with Ryan and Ki really well, and am so pumped for their story.
