This work is truly a touching one. Not only is it soul-filled and heartfelt, but it is also intelligent. The diction and vocabulary BethAnne uses are truly impeccable. She is able to so accurately describe grief and loss - both losing someone as well as being lost - through concise words, metaphors, her word musicality (is that a thing? I'm going to decide it is).

What stood out for me out of the WHOLE book, were the poems. I am officially a poem fan. There were so many varied styles of poem in this work, and they all worked in evoking different emotions associated to diverse rhythms. They are just so raw and honest.

The formatting of this book is stunning as well. Every page has artwork as a background and the colours and brushstrokes truly amplify the experience. The book is divided into seasons which aboard different stages of healing. The paperback is the way to go here, guys.

BethAnne, thank you so much for this book. It is truly a piece of you I will cherish.
