I received this book from NetGalley and the publisher, Captured Press, as a granted wish! Thank you Captured Press!
Wow! I was completely wrapped up in this highly original story. I am a huge fan of Greek Mythology, and this book added a twist to it that I absolutely loved. Let me be honest here, I didn't want the book to end.
One thing I really admired about the writing in this book, is that as readers, we are, like Lyssa, utterly confused about people's intentions, and about who to believe. The characters are all complex, layered, and have their own agendas they keep hidden, which adds to the quality of the intrigue of the book.
Another aspect I enjoyed, was the ribbon manipulation. At first, I was a little confused, but as I read the book, I became quite fond of the concept. It's what makes this Oracle story so unique.
All I can think about as I write this is: "I really would really like Theta right about now."
Side note: The covers for this series so far are so nice, that I want to buy a physical copy of the books to have on my bookshelf!
