I received an ebook of this novel from the author and I voluntarily reviewed it. Thank you Alexa Whitewolf!
What a captivating read! This book had so much going on that when ever you thought: "I should put this down to actually do things I must do" the author would reveal something important to which you would think: "Well, now I must keep reading".
On that same wavelength, I think that perhaps the book could have been more edited. There was a lot of back and forth which at times became tiresome, because the reader would feel that the characters' quest was going nowhere.
I was please you surprised by the final chapters. I don't know why, but I didn't think te author would go there. Without divulging anything, I think that if the author ended a chapter earlier, the ending would have had more impact - that's just my opinion.
Otherwise, Whitewolf was able to convey and communicate her complex world with her readers with ease - a great quality in an author and novel. Although there is a lot going on in this world, or I should say worlds, with all the jumps in time, we are never left unintentionally perplexed. What she wants us to know is there and clear.
Overall, a good book that I recommend for readers who like romantic fantasy!
