I received a galley from NetGalley and the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you both!
What an entertaining short read. This was actually great; short, to the point, concise. There were no unnecessary scenes and superfluous characters. Every aspect of this story had a purpose in developing either the plot or other characters.
Although the plot isn't perfect, it is still very good. There is always a new development that keeps you hooked until the end. And honestly, it left me wanting more. My favourite parts of the story are the interactions between Bianka and Phillip. (I'm sorry not sorry, but I don't like Marc; at all) Their interactions are all mysterious, short and rare, and that is what makes them so special.
I have to finish by mentioning how much I admire Bianka. She is extremely practical, resourceful, and focused. She learns, plans and executes with perfection. Although she is a teenager, she doesn't act like one. She exuberates maturity and has a dry sense of humour that I love. I can't wait to read what comes next!
