Blurred Red Lines - Cora Kenborn

What a wild, wild ride this was. I'm a sucker for cartel and organized crime books, and this one did not disappoint! 

This book features the feud between the Mexican and Columbian cartel. It demonstrates their conniving-ness and their reach. This book was filled with blood, betrayal, and carnal desires. What the author did extremely well, was surprise me at every turn. I am usually good at predicting what is going to happen, but when it came to this book, Kenborn didn't slip up.

The reason why I'm not giving this book a higher rating, is because I wasn't like: "WOW, dear lord I love this book!". I believe that is because despite all of the betrayal going on within the book, there is still a lot of "blind" trust, which, my I can't wrap around my head. 

However, that ending was great. The plot twist - I never saw it coming. Thinking back, I should have connected the dots, but it took me by surprise, so BRAVO!
