Break Me - Logan Chance

This book has great potential! It has some string points, but also some weaker points. I'll start with the strong points.

First, I really like the back story - the events that lead to the unfolding of the main story. I like the plot twist that ensues from that and how all the characters are connected. That is truly my kind of story. I love when stories are cohesive and how you can connect the dots at the end.

Second, I really like when authors talk about art in books. I've taken a few art history/ interpretation classes, and they have stuck with me. I feel like describing art to someone without that person having seen it almost allows for an interpretation of how it looks, and that's a beautiful thing.

Here is where my brain gets snagged in the plot. As I was reading the story, it was obvious something was up. I feel as though the person behind this Master(s) Plan (see what I did there? Once you read it you'll know) should have realized who Katy was and how she was connected in a deeper way to his plan - which he had been working towards for awhile. You'd think someone so close to the events would have figured that out, as the events that happened are rare.

I also felt as though the writing of the story was a little disjointed at the beginning, but progressively got more fluid as the story progressed. It is as though the author finally got his groove 3/4 of the way through.

Overall, great potential for this book!
