Fault Line is a wonderful book about how one event can change a person completely. How rape can change a person close to you and render them unrecognizable.
Ben is a swimming scholarship prospect and overall good guy. Smart, dedicated and loyal. When he meets Ani the summer before starting senior year, he is utterly captivated by her. They become and item, but everything changes when Ani goes to a party and Ben doesn't go with her. Ani is slipped roofies and blacks out about the previews night, and ends up with a lighter inside her.
I absolutely love the frankness of this book. Everything seems so accurate and real. Hence the name of the book, everyone blames themselves, but who is really to blame? As Ani tries to et control of her life, Ben is losing control of his. Touching and moving, it's a definite "to-read" book so go ahead and add it to your bookshelves on Goodreads and at home.
