I absolutely love this book. By reading the back cover, which is featured above, you would think it is only a cliché "boy wants girl, boy has girl, boy loses girl, and boy wants girl back". No. This book is about redemption, loss, forgiveness, friendship, family, and acceptance. To cap it all off, it is written with Samantha Young's beautiful, captivating, writing.
Hannah Nichols is born into a rich family. She, like the rest of her family, does not boast about her money. In fact she works as a High School English teacher and volunteers at her community centre and gives English classes to illiterate adults. The story is wonderful, because we have known Hannah since she was in High School from On Dublin Street and have seen her grow up in Down London Road and Before Jamaica Lane. We also know about Marco in these books, but this is the first time we see Hannah's perspective on things.
I don't want to ruin anything, so just note that I love this book, but that you should read the books that come before it first. Happy Reading!
