Before I start excessively complementing this book, I'd like to state that this is the first E.K. Blair book I have read. *takes shelter from accusing glares* I KNOW! What took me so long!? So lets get this review started.
This is a great book about healing from traumatic events such as rape. The character development of Candice was flawless and real, and the story line was impeccable.
A reason why I connected with this book, is because I understand Candice, being similar in many ways. We've both never found anyone we've truly liked in the couple sense, we are both introverted, and we think similarly. (Side note: I did ballet for 8 years) She has this drive to excel and to prove people who doubt her wrong.
This plot has my heart racing and wrenching. I could not stop reading it and read 3/4 of it in one night- I have two jobs and summer school. It had great flow, and speed, yet followed that slow process of healing.
This is an amazing book by E.K. Blair, and I definitely recommend it!
