I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Terry Maggert!
This book started off interestingly enough, with an angel realm and human realm mixing ever so slightly for the first time. I felt as though the middle could have been more concise, especially the Earth chapters. The Sliver chapters were actually my favourites, especially the epic final ones. It almost seemed as though the Sliver chapters had more substance than the Earth chapters, and that is what was tipping me off ever so slightly. However, with the end, everything ends up making sense - sort of.
I was a little confused about the time aspect of this book, and Terry was kind enough to answer my questions. His answers opened up a whole new aspect of the book that rendered it even more beautiful and interesting than before. The amount of thought and planning that went into this book is astounding and I applaud it. Whenever I realize how intelligent a book is, I cannot seam to stop loving it.
The end of the book was well executed. I liked the linking of the characters, as well as the time blank followed by the plot twist. I would say that the last 15% of the book was the most entertaining part.
I'm looking forward to reading the sequel!
On another note, how aesthetically pleasing is that cover! Totally in love with it. *wings are my weakness*
